Five of the Ultimate Charlotte Locations for Your Engagement Session

Five of the Ultimate Charlotte Locations for Your Engagement Session

If you’re looking to represent the Queen City in your engagement photos, look no further.

This is the place to find the ultimate places in Charlotte for your engagement sesh. Why Charlotte? Well, if you’re one of the 800,000-plus residents who live in the city, -- this by far does not include the millions who live in nearby Concord, Gastonia and other surrounding towns! -- if you’re one of the estimated tens of thousands who desire to live here, or if you just want to show up and show out in the largest city in both of the Carolinas, you’ll want to shoot your session in Charlotte.

And you’ll want to choose from the ultimate Charlotte list to capture your engagement in an it-factor style if shooting here. Many of the following locations are probably well-known to you already...that is exactly the point.

So read on to see why these locations are the quintessential Charlotte spots for your engagement shots.

1. Romare Bearden Park

Romare Bearden Park is in the heart of Charlotte, in Uptown. This means you’re getting a mix of nature and a metropolis. Where else in the Carolinas will you find the best of both worlds? The skylines that surround a flowery atmosphere offer a photo location for all engaged couples.

Located at 300 S. Church Street, Bearden is nestled within walking distance to everything Uptown is famous for! There are nearly five acres of park which includes several fountains, and a waterfall that lights up at night, which means your sesh can become a day-long affair. Tall, steel sculptures stand proudly throughout the park to accompany your poses.

If you’re debating between a picturesque park session and a city-life backdrop, Romare Bearden Park’s got you.

2. Charlotte Convention Center

Before stepping inside the 550,000-square-foot Charlotte Convention Center, your engagement photos can be created in the most ultimate way, in front of the building. The statuesque columns surrounding the entrance contribute to Charlotte’s center city design. Also outside is a water display only rivaled by an out-of-town landmark. Inside, you’ll find space, on space, on space, if you need a blank canvas to fill with the decor of your desire. The banquet halls, meeting areas, and more makes the triple C the ultimate Charlotte location.

You should check to ensure another event scheduled won’t put a wrench in your plans, however.

3. Metalmorphosis - Giant Head

Not only is 22-foot-tall  Metalmorphosis an ultimate Charlotte location for engagement seshes, it’s by far a super-unique spot to announce your pending nuptials. Stand anywhere in front of the head and surrounding water display, it’s full of ‘good sides’. And no, it won’t overpower your own poses; you make the pictures, period.

Honestly, the head is the Whitehall Corporate Center make-over a business park needs, adding a pop of silver to an otherwise basic office building.

Imagine what Metalmorphosis can do for your engagement pics!

4. Carowinds

Thrillseekers are always on the hunt for the ultimate destination. Carowinds enters the engagement shoot chat with its 407-acre wonder of the Carolinas.

Whether you want to represent Charlotte or Fort Mill, SC, Carowinds has the backdrop for a good-time photo session.

If you prefer to have your pics taken without massive crowds, it’s probably best to schedule your photo sesh during the school day.

5. Freedom Park

Freedom Park is Charlotte’s most popular park. With miles and miles of grass, trees and a large pond, of course this park is an ultimate location.

You can literally choose from an off-beaten path, a more-beaten path (featuring the antique train), or both!  As an added yasss, please?

Skip over to any other sites found in Dilworth to Myers Park, since Freedom Park encompasses both neighborhoods.  We don’t know who needs to read this, but go with a ride-sharing service as parking is crazy during peak times.

Charlotte is an ultimate place. Your engagement is an ultimate event. So,why not take your pick of any of these ultimate Charlotte hot spots for the ultimate engagement photos? As the city has a lil bit of everything wrapped into one place, so should your engagement sesh.

Think about choosing one, or all the locations, since each spot is in the city, and you can hit every last one of ‘em in about 30 minutes or less.
